What I do - and how I do it
From weekly lawn care to seasonal cleanup to snow removal, everything I offer comes with the same promise: I show up, I do it right, and I charge you fairly.

The Bread and Butter
Weekly lawn care
This is what most people call about, and it's what I've built my reputation on. I come to your property on the same day every week and take care of the mowing, edging, and trimming.
It's not complicated - but doing it consistently, on schedule, and with attention to detail? That's apparently harder than it sounds. I've been doing it for 21 years without missing a beat.
- Weekly mowing on a set schedule
- Edging along sidewalks, driveways, and beds
- String trimming around obstacles and fences
- Clippings blown off hard surfaces
- Same day, same time - every week
Starting at $35/week
The "can you also..." jobs
Seasonal maintenance
Once you're a client, it's natural to start noticing other things. The hedges are getting unruly. The mulch is fading. The garden beds need attention. That's where this comes in.
Most of my maintenance work comes from people I'm already cutting for. They see me every week, they trust me, and one day they say "hey, can you also take care of those shrubs?" The answer is always yes.
- Shrub and hedge trimming
- Mulch installation and bed cleanup
- Weeding and garden maintenance
- Seasonal planting and replanting
- Spring and fall cleanups
- Gutter clearing and debris removal

Something a little bigger
Landscaping projects care
I'm not a hardscaping company with excavators and a ten-person crew. But for the kind of projects that make your backyard more livable - a small paver patio for the grill, a new planting bed, some decorative stonework - I can handle that.
These projects always start with a visit. I come out, take a look, talk through what you're envisioning, and give you an honest quote. No pressure. If it's bigger than what I do, I'll tell you that too.
- Small brick paver patios and walkways
- Planting bed design and installation
- Decorative stonework and borders
- Pond cleanup and replanting
- Custom projects - just ask
Year-round care
Snow removal
Michigan winters don't take a break, and neither do I. When the mowing season ends, I switch to snow removal - driveways, sidewalks, and walkways cleared so you can get in and out safely.
I'll come out even for a half inch, just to make sure it's safe for you. A lot of my clients are elderly, and I know that a thin layer of ice is just as dangerous as six inches of snow. It's about peace of mind - knowing someone's looking out for you.
- Driveway and sidewalk clearing
- Walkway and entry clearing
- Salt and ice treatment
- Even for light accumulation - safety first
- Same reliability as the lawn schedule

How it works
Three steps. That's it.
No complicated process, no online portals to navigate, no automated phone trees. Just a real person on the other end.
1
Call or text me
Tell me what you need. If I can't answer right away - I'm probably on a job - leave a voicemail or text and I'll get back to you the same day.
2
I come look at your property
I don't quote over the phone. I come out, walk the property with you, and give you an honest number on the spot. Free, no obligation.
3
We pick a day and I show up
We agree on a schedule, I put you on my route, and that's it. Same day, same time, every week. No contract - just a handshake.
Fair and straightforward
What does it cost?
Every property is different, so I always come look before I quote. But here's a general idea so you know what to expect.
Weekly lawn care
$35-65/week
Based on property size and complexity
Most of my clients fall around $40/week. I come out, look at your yard, and give you a fair number. That's the number - no surprise charges, no add-ons you didn't ask for.
Maintenance & Projects
Quoted per job
Always after an in-person visit
Hedge trimming, mulch, cleanups, paver work - every job is different. I'll come look at what you need, give you a written quote, and you decide. No pressure, no rush.
I want to be fair to you and fair to me. I'm not trying to get rich off anyone - I'm trying to do good work at a price that makes sense for both of us. If I can see that a client is on a fixed income, I keep that in mind. That's just how I operate.
